Collect. Fold, tear and cut. Assemble. Glue.
A day of collage-making as a means of communicating with God. During this 3-hour workshop, participants will get a chance to quiet down and be in an intimate setting with God. Collage is an expressive art form that requires no formal art background. All you need is an open mind and a heart that’s willing to listen.
This type of collage may be described as instinctive, free-flowing, uninhibited and relaxed. It allows for an exploration of the subconscious mind through the expressive use of magazine cut-outs.
Students will learn:
During the 3-hour session participants will learn:
• the four basic steps in creating a collage
• useful collage techniques, tips, and tricks
• how to express oneself creatively
• how to talk about your work through an instructor-led group critique.
Materials needed: Colored magazines
The fee is inclusive of all basic materials: Scissors, large glue stick, and 1/8 illustration board.
